Sixers Playoff Game!

this sunday, I had one of the best experiences of my life! Actually I had to sit on my international business stuff but I decided to would be better to go to a basketball game.
And it was worth it! Cause we had all you-can-eat seats. They served Hotdogs, Chips, salty Popcorn and Soda. Unfortunally no beer :-(
But anyway, I really liked it there! Totally awesome. The only really weird thing was that I noticed, that Americans need Intertainment all the time. There were some short games on the cube during the break for instance.

American national anthem

On Monday I had my first Midterm. I was only able to look at all that stuff for about two hours. I think I did kind of good in that test. Because of this I rewarded my self with new kicks and a new cap...

Exploring the city

This week I borrowed a bike to get me a new deck at Nocturnal, which is on South Street.
I didn't wanna take the sub, because the weather was to nice to spent my time in a tube.
Here a little impression:

That's what I got:(Best Graphic ever!)On Thursday we went to Med Max same thing as every week.
Mango-Pineapple Margarithas are just fucking awesome!

The funniest thing happened on Friday. I wanted to spend my day at the Quad, because of the really nice weather and I had a bunch of stuff to read. So I went there to chill a bit in the sun and enjoy a little bit of silence. But that wasn't possible! Someone at Drexel decided to put tons of snow on the lawn. I still don't know the reason for that. So, guess what happened? Someone started to throw a snowball and it ended up in a huge snowball fight, like 60 people included...

This week wasn't that special...
The best thing of the week will be today. Pietro was able to buy some special tickets for the Sixers game tonight. They include extra wide leather seats, a buffet and as much beer as you wanna drink!!! That really sounds like a good plan for a Sunday evening.
Pics off will follow soon!

Third week at school

The third week at school is over. I think I'm still doing kind fo good. Except of Suplly Chain Management. That class is so hard! My teacher is an indian guy with a little accent. He has no lecture notes or anything like that. Which makes is even harder for me...
Most of the time during that week I spent outside, cause the weather was just beautiful!
I went to South Street and Penn's Landing to skate there but without success. I mean, we were able to skate for 5min but that's it :-(
But anyway. On Wendesday we went to that bar were you have to pay 5bucks to get in. Once you are inside all drinks are $0,75!!! But that deal is limited for two hours.
On Thursday we went to MadMex, as every week. I met some really funny serbian guys there.
The weirdest thing this week was, that I've started to dream in english. This is a really strange feeling. Probably you guys can imagine that!

Here some flicks of the week:

Smoothie!
Toilet art
dorm
I spent the whole friday like this

I forgot about something really important.Do comments!!!!!

2nd week at school, international dinner,...

The secound week of school is already over. Finally I got my schedule set up right. But I probably going to drop another class, because I don't need it.
During the secound week I went to center city again but this time I got my board with me.
Dude, you guys cannot figure how bad the cops over here are!
We've been to City Hall first. Got kicked out after 5 minutes. Then we went to this other spot. There we stayed for about an hour. So we had luck on our side. But anyway, on our way back to Drexel we had to pass City Hall again. This time we were walking. Brian wanted to change his socks real quick and sat down there. Then the one cop showed up and said: " Leave the property right now. Brian answered: " Eh, I just want to change my socks really quick. We are going to leave in a minute." The cop again: " Did I asked you a question? Leave the property right now!"
And then he started pushing us with his bike. So we decided to leave really quick! Stupid Ass!
On Thursday we went to Mad Mex as every week. It was a really nice night because of the good weather during the day and those nice margarithas.
On Friday the study abroad office held a dinner for all new international students in some maroccon restaurant in old city. It was a great evening! We all had to eat without cutlery. Just with our hands. At first it was kind of hard to figure out how to do it without dispersing the food over the whole table.
On Saturday and Sunday I spent most of my time in the libary and tried to do my homework however without any results.

Spring has finally arrived in Philly

daily business

Allright, after almost to weeks I finally got my schedule together. It a pretty easy one I guess.
None of my classes starts before 10a.m. and ends not later that 4:30p.m.
But it's a totally different thing to study in the states!
Overhere you've got to do a bunch of homework and probably two exams within a term! Plus they got compulsory attendance here, that means if you cannot make it to a class and you didn't inform your teacher in advance, then you're not allowed to write the exams...
And everyone of you should know that Public Safety sucks so bad!!!!
Okay, that's enough for today.

How every single morning starts:

LOVE!

Some kind of museum. I forgot about tha name

Sight seeing and the first real american party

On Thursday evening we(international students + friends) went to Mad Mex again and had some more Margarithas again! Awesome! During the happy hour they are only 6 bucks!
On Friday I went on my own little sight seeing tour through center city. I started at city hall, love park and to the rocky stairs back and forth.
Center city is still so impressing to me. All the traffic the high buildings and all those people sworming around the area...
In the evening we decided to go to a party right around the block. Typical american college party, I guess. We've had to pay 3$ at the front door. After that all drinks were for free.
But that party sucked. So we went to an other one and the night ended there...
On Saturday I got picked up by Safet and spent my rest weekend in Allentown. Just chilling an enjoying the mazedonien food!!!

The first week, security and Mad Mex

Okay, my first week at Drexel is almost over. I'm enjoying my classes so far. But I had to drop the Operation Research class, because it's a writing intesive courses, which means that we'll have to write 3-5 pages essays every two weeks. And I am way to lazy for that.
The day before yesterday Jose, one of my roommates, gave me a little introduction of warfare and military strategy. I was to Irak and Afghanistan during his time in the Army.
Dude, he gots some strange stories to tell!!!
On the same day I met some skater guys and went skating with them. Man, skating overhere is no fun at all. We showed up at a spot and were able to skate for like 5-15min then the securities show up and told us to leave because no skateboarding on campus area... SUCKERS!!!!
Yesterday I was at an international student meeting which was kind of useless for me because I already knew the most of those information.
But there I meet Jette. She from Germany too. So we decided to go out in the evening. We went to a mexican bar called Mad Mex. There I got my first american beer which tastes not that bad as the light ones do.
Today we are going to go there again with all international students. So pics of today will follow soon.

My first Philly Cheesesteak which tastes like a compound of Döner and Bolognese

Aldi is kicking it over here too. One of the best bretzels I had in the last couple of months.
and only $1,30 or something like that.
